Dogs are natural-born attention seekers. Our canine friends do everything they can to gain their fur parent’s undivided attention, even if they risk their safety for it.
Thus, it’s not unusual for a dog to beg its fur parent to give it some neck scratches even as they travel inside a car. However, it seems the dog goes overboard as it throws all precautions in the air to get what it wants.
I love that, Mom.
In this seemingly ordinary footage, a large, fluffy dog named Baloo sits on the passenger seat of their car. At first, Baloo focuses his attention on the vehicle’s steering wheel.
After a few moments, Baloo’s fur mom decides to give him some loving neck scratches even as she drives. However, as Mom’s driving, she only scratches the pooch’s neck for a few seconds before focusing on the road.

Mom, I want those scratches, now!
And, it seems Baloo wants more of those neck scratches as he ultimately glances at Mom. But, no matter how many times Baloo sends silent hints, Mom continues driving.
As Mom ignores Baloo’s constant pleas for affection, the pooch thinks of a way to gain her attention. Without warning, Baloo stretches out his paw and places it on Mom’s hand.
Since Mom needs to focus on her driving, she gently shoves Baloo’s paw. However, the stubborn pooch refuses to give up as he continues pawing Mom’s hand.
With this, Mom decides to take action by actively shoving the pooch’s paw from her hand. But, no matter how hard she tries, Baloo continues the task with a vengeance. At some point, Baloo even holds onto Mom’s hand even as she tries removing it from his grasp.
