The Philadelphia Union has a legendary supporter’s group named Son of Ben. Based on the group’s name the canine cutouts will be called Dogs of Ben. Each cutout will represent a shelter pooch — available to be adopted in Philadelphia.
A Subaru spokesperson said in a statement that the level of Subaru’s love for pets is identical to its passion for the game. Subaru’s management wanted to do something for the furry beings. They came up with the idea of trying to bring awareness about shelter animals so that they could find suitable homes. The management hoped that the Dogs of Ben would not only add fun to the game, but the actual animals would also be able to find loving homes.
The automobile company’s commitment to promoting charitable programs aimed at pet welfare is an integral part of their vision. Subaru wishes to play its role in improving the well-being and safety of animals all over the country.
