Siblings often fight about the most mundane things. Sometimes mom would give one a toy or some food, and the other would also want it. They might bicker a little or try to stake their claim on the item. It’s all part of family life, and usually, these things always get resolved quickly.
Just like with humans, sibling rivalry also happens in the dog world. These two Cocker Spaniel siblings love each other to bits, but things take a U-turn whenever it involves toys. The two siblings may not always get along, but their fights are never brutal.
Alison Watson, the two Cocker Spaniels’ owner, recorded one of their fights at their house in Bristol. It’s not like any other dog fight, because the two stubborn canines stayed frozen just like statues. Both dogs have their teeth clamped around a flavored chew toy, seemingly waiting for the other dog to release it.
As it turns out, Alison gave the youngest of the two, the 14-month-old Marmite, a chew toy. It made the 3-year-old Nutmeg feel left out, so he decided he wanted that toy too. The clip shows the comical duo on a silent deadlock while their paws were on their dad’s legs.
