The Puppies are Coming
The poor pregnant basset hound was heavily pregnant she could only fit halfway through the dog door. However, that would not last for too much longer. Soon would be soon time for her to give birth.
“The panting is usually within 12 hours of birth. That’s usually the first sign and then they stop eating” The foster parent stated.
And she was correct. Within a certain amount of time, Millie had given birth to her liter. 11 Puppies in total- 6 Boys and 5 Girls. They all appeared to be in good health. They had all of their limbs and appeared to be healthy. All of the puppies lived, which likely gave the foster parent a sign of relief.
However, because of the size of the litte Millie could not breastfeed all of the puppies at once. So the foster parent bottle fed some of the puppies. They all stayed with the foster parent for about 40 days. They all looked happy, loved and well cared for in the video.
What finally happened to Millie- the Formerly Pregnant Basset Hound?
The foster parent adopted two of the puppies from the liter. But you will have to watch the rest of the video to find out what happened to Millie and the rest of the puppies.
