COVID-19 lock down measures have impacted everyone. In Spain, Murphy’s favorite dog park was closed due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
The Impact
Spain, like some of the few countries in the world, has been badly hit by the pandemic. The outbreak, which has already spread all over the world, has already infected roughly about half a million people worldwide.
Because of its rapid spread, countries the world over have put in place protocols and safety measures to contain the virus.
Spain is no different. The country has put itself under national lockdown, and while citizens are allowed to make essential trips, everyone is prohibited from going out as part of the country’s social distancing and quarantine protocols.
While the virus has devastated humans, the outbreak affects not only the lives of humans but animals as well.
On No, Doggies Favorite Park is Closed!
For Murphy, a Chihuahua living in Spain, the lockdown means he will have to sacrifice his trips to the dog park.
The dog park, which is conveniently located near where Murphy is living, has been closed to visitors to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
In the video below, you can see that Murphy becomes excited when he sees the gate to the dog park.
However, when he realizes that it was closed and they are not allowed to enter, he begins to whine, sad that he won’t be able to play in the dog park.
Luis and Murphy usually visit the dog park together before the pandemic. They would play there, and Murphy would have the best time of his life.
But since the Corona pandemic hit the country, Murphy has had to sacrifice his playtime in the dog park to follow the country’s quarantine protocols.
Murphy is still lucky, though. While he is not allowed to play in the dog park, he can still play with his loving family at home where they are safe.
Watch Murphy’s reaction to the closed dog park in the video below.
