#3 English Bulldog
Their wrinkly flat faces, furrowed brow, pushed in nose, small ears make them unmistakably cute. They have a distinctive gait, round bodies and their coats have a variety of colors and patterns. They like to cuddle although they can weigh up to 50 lbs.
Their temperament is described as friendly, courageous, determined and calm but they are also quite stubborn and bull-headed- no pun intended. They have no problem going their own was despite command. However, as with most breeds listed in this article, they can improve with training.

Their regal and independent nature made them famous for intelligence and loyalty and also their stubbornness. This breed especially needs early training and socialization not only for their stubbornness but also because they tend to be standoffish to strangers and perceive threats vigorously.

Also known as “snow dogs”, Atika’s originally come from the snowy mountainous regions of Japan. Their temperament is considered dignified, loyal, friendly, affectionate and determined. They are muscular, burly and heavy boned with a dense coat that comes in many colors. They also adapt well to cold weather and prefer being outside.
Akita’s don’t back down from challenges and do not frighten easily which makes them great protectors and hunting dogs but also equally stubborn. They tend to be independent thinking and headstrong. However, Akita’s can make great family dogs with the proper training and socialization as they are known to form tight bonds with their pet parents and siblings.
