As you are probably aware, dogs have been man’s best friend for centuries. However, it’s a unfortunate fact that too many of our furry friends end up getting abandoned. It’s therefore no surprise that when these abandoned dogs are rescued, they are not looking their best.
Some of these dogs have been homeless, malnourished, has diseases and skin lacerations. It’s a very sad sight that people would be so careless and heartless with their pets. However, there is one company that is working hard to help these abandoned shelter dogs.
Wahl, a company that sells pet grooming products and supplies and Greater Good, a non-profit organization, have teamed up together to offer makeovers for abandoned shelter dogs. The transformations are absolutely stunning as you can see below:

This partnership culminated into the Dirty Dogs Contest. The goal of the contest help these poor previously abandoned shelter dogs get adopted. People may overlook dogs that are not well groomed. The three contest winners will receive grants for the shelters in which they live. These grants will allow these shelters to continue this effort.
Wahl donated the necessary grooming equipment and supplies for all of the makeovers. Once the makeovers were complete, the organization sent pictures of the before and after results.
